My Journal Page
Prompt #2
I’m not sure I’m ready to come out of my winter hibernation. I love cozying up with a good book, bingeing a new (or old) series, and eating warm, healing soups. On the other hand, when the temperature climbs into the 60’s, and new growth and early spring flowers start popping up, my heart starts to thaw. I begin to crave the warm sun on my cheeks.
While I’m not ready to be more social or weave my way through crowds just yet, there is a liveliness that feels energizing. I guess, like any transition, I get to stand in the middle savoring both sides if I so choose. In between spaces are rarely celebrated. Today, I will appreciate the doorway, the threshold, the middle space, and pause for a moment to appreciate where I am coming from and where I am headed next.
