A New Day

Prompt #1: Every day that we wake up is a fresh start. If you had one thing in your life you’d like to do over, what would it be?

Prompt #2: The start of a new day is a chance to start something new. What new path could you take today?

Prompt #3: How about a “resolutions” check in? Has the new year started off the way you had liked? How can you not get lost in outcome expectations, but instead enjoy each day as it is.

My Journal Page

Prompt #2 Response:

Truth is I have been worn down. I’m not bouncing back from all the holiday activity as I usually do. So when I look at this new day ahead of me and I consider how it is a chance to start something new, I think about my health. What new path could I take today to that could influence my health, not only today, but for the year ahead? And the first thing that comes to mind is breath work. I’ve been exploring breath work, but haven’t really implemented it into me life to create any real change.

As I visualize myself on my comfy raft today, gliding down the mountain stream of life, I will remember to breathe. (I hold my breath a lot - crazy, right?) When I do focus on my breath, I feel grounded, as if I am returning to me. My energy returns. And now I have a chance to heal.
